Austria Approves OMV’s 200 MW Green Hydrogen Project

The municipal council in Bruck an der Leitha approved OMV AG’s 200MW electrolysis project, set to be located in Wilfleinsdorf, Lower Austria. The project, which will use Renewable Energy sources like Wind, Hydropower, & Biomass, involves rezoning 8 hectares of land. OMV secured a 20-year land contract with an annual payment of EUR 360,000. This project supports Austria's national hydrogen strategy
