Amara Raja to fund over Rs 1,000 Cr for Li-ion cell in FY26

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd plans to invest over Rs1,000 Cr in its New Energy Business during the FY 2026.India's largest lead acid battery manufacturer is setting up a Gigafactory in Telangana at an estimated cost of Rs9,500 cr.Cumulative investment in the Li-ion cell business around Rs1,200 cr.Li-Fe phosphate will occupy near75-80% of the overall requirements of the market going forward.
