AERC Unveils Guidelines for Renewable Energy Metering

The Assam ERC (AERC) has proposed guidelines for Group and Virtual Net Metering for Renewable Energy systems, effective until March 31, 2024. Distribution licensees must cover capital costs for network development and ensure systems are exempt from various charges. The guidelines specify that systems must range from 1 kW to 1 MW and require a feasibility application fee of Rs. 1000.
