Adani Group Targets Rs 2 Lakh Crore Investment for 40 GW Renewables by 2030

Adani Group plans to invest Rs 2 lakh crore by 2030 to expand renewable energy capacity to 50 GW, targeting net zero emissions by 2050. Currently at 10 GW, they aim to add 6-7 GW annually. The conglomerate emphasizes solar (80%) and wind (20%) energy, with significant projects like a 30,000 MW solar plant in Gujarat and a 5 GW pump storage for peak power demand.
