ZF India has secured a multi-year contract to supply its AxTrax 2 LF, India’s first fully integrated low-floor electric axle, for city buses. Deliveries, starting in 2026, will serve domestic and export markets. Designed for 11- and 18-metre buses, it replaces conventional engine, transmission, and axle assemblies, offering 260 kW and 360 kW variants with 36,800 Nm torque.
