Zelestra and EDP have signed Spain’s first PPA to hybridise an operational solar plant with storage. The deal integrates a 160 MWh BESS with the 50 MW Pizarroso plant in Cáceres to enhance flexibility and energy management. This marks a significant step in advancing solar-plus-storage deployment in Spain.
