The Government of India has approved ₹63.12 crore for deploying 335 EV charging stations across Kerala under the PM E-DRIVE scheme, with Kerala State Electricity Board as the nodal agency. The rollout will target highways, urban centers, and commercial hubs, including high-capacity charging infrastructure for e-buses and e-trucks, supported by up to 80% subsidy for private participation.
