Yanmar Power Solutions has acquired a 33,000m² industrial site in Osaka to develop hydrogen marine engines in Japan. The company plans an 8,000m² Amagasaki Coastal Factory to test and advance engines compatible with hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia. Following its 2024 launch of fuel cell and hydrogen systems, Yanmar also partnered with US-based Amogy to integrate ammonia cracking technology.
