World Green Energy (WGE) signed a land sublease agreement with Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Ltd for 50 acres at Gopalpur Industrial Park, Odisha. WGE will establish a 2GW TOPCon solar cell and 1.2GW solar module manufacturing facility. The project supports India’s vision for carbon neutrality by 2047, boosts local employment, and enhances solar supply chains.
