The target of Williamsdale BESS project will be sufficient for 1/3 of Canberra for 2 hours. The project consist of capacity is 250M/500 MWh. This is a step towards achieving the net zero emission in 2045.There will be generation of 200 jobs in the project. Andrew emphasized the project as a vital step towards sustainable energy, economic growth and shielding the ACT from energy price volatility.
