Victoria’s government has expedited a 400MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) and 500MW solar-plus-storage project through its Development Facilitation Program (DFP). Mint Renewables’ 200MW/400MWh Dederang BESS has faced local opposition but will connect to the National Electricity Market.
