Waaree Solar Americas has invested $30 million in United Solar Holdings by acquiring 5.37 million Series B preferred shares to secure a long-term supply of fully traceable polysilicon for its solar manufacturing operations. United Solar’s Sohar, Oman plant, with an annual capacity of 100,000 metric tons, can support up to 40 GW of solar module production.
