Bengaluru-based startup Vidyut has expanded its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) portfolio to passenger cars, partnering with JSW MG Motor India. This initiative introduces a pay-as-you-go battery rental model for the MG Comet EV, MG Windsor EV, and MG ZS EV, starting at ₹2.5 per kilometre. Customers can reduce running costs by up to 40% compared to traditional vehicles.
