Vestas secured a 115 MW order from ENERTRAG for V172-7.2 MW Wind turbines for two Brandenburg projects—Malchow Ost (86 MW) and Tantow 1 (29 MW)—marking the largest such order to date. This contributes to Vestas surpassing 1 GW of +7 MW turbine orders in Germany by May 2025. The turbines will power 85,000 homes and cut 200,000 tons of CO₂ annually.
