After acquiring Siemens Gamesa’s onshore wind business in India and Sri Lanka, a TPG- and MAVCO-led consortium launched Vayona Energy, a Mumbai-based independent renewable platform. The company becomes a major wind turbine OEM with about 1,000 staff, 12 GW in operational and pipeline assets, over 1 GW in orders, and 8 GW in O&M.
