Researchers at Australia’s University of New South Wales (UNSW) developed a method to improve the durability of tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cells by applying copper (Cu) plating to screen-printed devices. This method reduces corrosion, enhances reliability, and lowers degradation under damp heat conditions.
