UJVNL has invited bids for developing a 90 MW/225 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) near Chilla Hydro Electric Project in Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal district. The project, valued at ₹352.30 crore, will be developed on a BOOT basis for 12 years, with the developer responsible for installation, operation and maintenance.
