The Tripura government will provide rooftop solar panels to households consuming less than 50 units of electricity for a nominal cost of ₹1,000, benefiting around 1.5 lakh families. Under the initiative, subsidies of ₹33,000, ₹66,000, and ₹85,800 are available for 1 kW, 2 kW, and 3 kW solar systems, respectively.
