TotalEnergies has sold a 50% stake in 11 German battery projects, totaling 789 MW, to Allianz Global Investors. The projects, under construction and backed by €500 million investment, will be operational by 2028. This move aligns with TotalEnergies’ strategy to optimize capital while supporting Germany’s energy transition, with Kyon Energy and Saft managing construction and operations.
