The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), through an Office Memorandum dated 14 July 2026, has clarified its amendment to the Revised Guidelines for Installation of Prototype Wind Turbine Models. The Ministry stated that prototype wind turbine models intended for commercial deployment can be installed only after the corresponding wind turbine model is included in the ALMM (Wind) List.
