Torrent Power Ltd has secured a long-term contract from MSEDCL to supply 2,000 MW of Energy Storage from its Pumped Hydro Storage Plant in Maharashtra. This agreement, extending over 40 years, enhances the previously confirmed capacity of 1,500 MW by an additional 500 MW. The initiative aims to meet rising Energy Storage needs alongside Renewable Energy integration.
