Topsoe will supply ammonia synthesis technology for Acwa Power’s 4.4GW Yanbu Green Hydrogen Project in Saudi Arabia, enabling flexible ammonia production from fluctuating renewable energy. The project, combining 10GW of wind and solar with electrolysis, could produce 2.5 million tonnes of green ammonia annually, becoming the world’s largest green hydrogen facility.
