GreenCell Mobility raised $89 million in a mezzanine funding round led by International Finance Corporation (IFC), British International Investment (BII), and Tata Capital to expand its electric bus fleet and charging infrastructure. Currently operating over 1,200 buses and 270 charging stations, GCM aims to scale to 3,700 buses under national e-mobility programmes across multiple states, including Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Puducherry.
