Indian Oil Corporation is planning to establish a Rs 1,000 crore sustainable aviation fuel facility as global supplies fall far short of what airlines require to satisfy decarbonization targets. The plant will be able to generate 88,000 tonnes of SAF every year. Indian Oil is looking to collaborate with other oil corporations on the project.
