Telangana’s EV policy has significantly boosted adoption, with sales rising to 1.13% in 2025 from 0.03% in 2023. The government offered ₹577 crore in tax exemptions, permitted 20,000 electric autos, and approved 25,000 retrofitted vehicles to reduce pollution. Additionally, all RTA checkposts have been abolished for transparency, with vehicle services now digital.
