Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), which is owned by Tata Motors, is about to reveal plans to construct a flagship electric car battery plant in the UK. People with knowledge of the situation told the BBC that the new factory was in Somerset, southwest England. According to its sources, the government will provide new manufacturing subsidies worth hundreds of millions of pounds.
