India is looking at the possibility of constructing natural gas storage to protect against supply disruptions. After imports under a long-term agreement with Russia suffered due to the conflict in Ukraine, India was forced to ration gas to fertilizer and other sectors in CY2022. India would 'probably' require assistance from international businesses to create gas storage.
