TagEnergy has launched the UK’s largest transmission-connected battery energy storage system, the 100MW/200MWh Lakeside project in North Yorkshire. Completed with support from Tesla and Habitat Energy, the project connects to the national grid, reducing charges. Development was backed by a £70 million debt package.
