Swift Current Energy Launches 800 MW Solar Facility in Illinois

Swift Current Energy’s 800 MW Double Black Diamond Solar project in Illinois, the largest east of the Mississippi, is now fully operational. It supplies power to 100,000 homes, with major customers including the City of Chicago and corporations like CVS and State Farm. Built using U.S.-manufactured components, the project created 500 jobs and aligns with Illinois’ clean energy goals.
