Suzlon Energy secured its first wind power order from the ArcelorMittal Group, winning a 248.5 MW project in Bachau, Gujarat, for a 550 MW captive hybrid renewable initiative supporting ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India. Suzlon will supply and install 79 S144 turbines of 3.15 MW each. This fourth green steel project lifts Suzlon’s supported green steel capacity to about 1,156 MW, reinforcing leadership in Gujarat and industrial decarbonisation, and expanding its EPC portfolio and clean energy partnerships.
