Sumitomo Corporation and AMPIN Energy Transition have launched a Joint Venture, AMPIN C&I Power Private Limited, to boost India's Renewable Energy sector. The venture, investing 100 billion yen, aims to develop a 1 GW Renewable Energy portfolio. AMPIN holds 51%, Sumitomo 49%. This project will support corporate PPAs for C&I consumers and aligns with India's ambitious Renewable Energy goals.
