Stor-Energy plans to develop two large-scale BESS projects in Columboola, Queensland—a 150MW/1,449MWh 10-hour system and a 400MW/1,950MWh 5-hour system—spanning 99 hectares and connected via underground transmission to the Columboola Substation. Construction could begin mid-2026. The project will affect endangered Koala habitat, prompting proposed environmental offsets.
