The Vidarbha region, especially Nagpur, is becoming a sustainable energy hub with companies like Jupiter International planning a ₹15,000 crore solar cell manufacturing facility. Jupiter aims to set up its first Maharashtra plant on 250 acres provided by MIDC. Other players like JSW Group and Reliance Industries are also exploring solar panel units.
