Statkraft has approved investment in the 280 MW Gran Sul onshore wind project in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Located in Santa Vitória do Palmar, the project will begin construction in January 2027 after completing technical, environmental, and regulatory approvals. The wind farm will strengthen Statkraft’s renewable energy portfolio in Brazil, its second-largest global market.
