State-owned Stanwell is installing 324 Tesla Megapack 2XL units for its 300MW/1,200MWh BESS at Stanwell Power Station, part of Queensland’s clean energy transition. The AU$747 million project will be commissioned by November 2025 and operational by May 2027. It complements the 300MW/600MWh Tarong BESS and a 250MW/1,010MWh offtake from Quinbrook’s Supernode BESS.
