The NSW Independent Planning Commission has recommended approval for Squadron Energy's 1,800MWh Wind+ Storage Project in New South Wales. The development includes a 700MW Wind farm and a 400MW/1800MWh Battery System over 17,645 hectares. Despite public objections, the site’s location near key infrastructure and favorable resources led to an AU$2 b investment decision for this 30-year project.
