KSEB predicts EV will reach 15 M by 2030 and 2,700 M units of electricity will be needed for EV charging at a rate of 0.15 kW/Km. Firstly KSEB runs 485 private charging stations as well as 1,169 charging stations mounted on power poles. The installation of solar panels and charging stations will be funded by ANERT.
