SolarAfrica has partnered with MPower and Fledge Capital to develop the 184 MW Highveld Hybrid Energy project in Mpumalanga, South Africa, integrating a 300 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). Located near eMalahleni, the project will store daytime solar generation for use during peak demand, enhancing renewable energy penetration, energy security, and price stability for corporate customers.
