SECI's 100 MW Floating Solar Project Nears Completion in Ranchi

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited is nearing completion of a 100 MW floating solar project at Getalsud dam in Ranchi, built at ₹500 crore across 172 acres. Expected to be inaugurated by April, it will supply power to nearly one lakh households. The first 50 MW phase will be commissioned soon, supported by a 132 kV transmission line, enhancing reliability and promoting efficient use of water bodies for renewable energy generation.
