The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has formalized Government Orders with Andhra Pradesh for a 1200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Nandyal and a 50 MW Hybrid Solar Project. Approved by SECI’s Board and monitored by MNRE, both projects will be executed under the CAPEX model, with SECI responsible for full investment and implementation.
