The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited bids to procure 1,000 MW of excess renewable power from existing projects with PPAs under the SECI-FDRE-VIII scheme. The tender allows developers to sell surplus solar-hour generation at a fixed tariff for 12 years. Projects must be ISTS-connected, include mandatory energy storage systems, and meet specified technical, financial, and eligibility criteria.
