RWE has received the first eight foundations for its 1,600MW Nordseecluster Offshore Wind Project in the German North Sea. Manufactured by Dajin Heavy Industry, the monopiles weigh 1,500 tonnes each. A total of 45 will pass through Eemshaven port this year. The project, built in two phases, will be fully operational by 2029, supplying green electricity to 1.
