Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) plans to develop a 300 MW Hybrid Renewable Energy Project using Solar, Wind, and Storage, aiming to supply green power to Indian Railways. Estimated at over ₹1,500 crore, the initiative aligns with the railways’ 15–20% green energy goal. RVNL is also advancing Coal Transport rail lines in mineral-rich states and expanding globally, with key projects in Peru, Turkey, and Tanzania, reflecting its growing infrastructure footprint both in India and abroad.
