Rajasthan Urja Vikas & IT Services Limited (RUVITL) has petitioned for approval to procure 3,200 MW of Thermal Power via competitive bidding, addressing an energy deficit. The plan includes coal-based plants under the SHAKTI scheme and a future addition of 8,000 MW of Solar Power. Rajasthan prioritizes decentralized Solar and Storage systems to ensure grid stability while expanding Renewable Energy capacity to meet future demand.
