Rivian and Redwood Materials have expanded their EV battery recycling partnership to include end-of-life Rivian battery packs. Under the extended deal, Redwood will collect retired packs, assess them for second-life use in battery energy storage systems, or recycle them to recover up to 95% of critical materials like lithium, nickel and cobalt for the US supply chain.
