UK-based RES has secured a five-year operations and maintenance (O&M) contract from ScottishPower Renewables for 15 onshore wind farms totaling 588 MW across Scotland and England. Under the agreement, RES will deliver preventive and corrective maintenance, including minor component replacements. The contract will be managed from RES’s new logistics hub in Bellshill, Scotland, creating 32 new jobs, including 16 technician roles, while strengthening its renewable asset management portfolio.
