N. Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation for ReNew Energy Global’s ₹5,400 crore project in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh. It includes a 6.5 GW ingot-wafer facility (₹4,200 crore) and a 100 MW hybrid captive plant (₹1,200 crore). Spread across 135 acres, the project will be commissioned in 24 months and generate 2,100 jobs, aiming to reduce import dependence and strengthen domestic solar manufacturing capacity.
