REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a subsidiary of REC Limited, has signed agreements to implement 33.26 lakh prepaid smart meters under PGVCL in Gujarat, as part of Phase II of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). The project, awarded to Bharat Grid Private Limited on a DBFOOT basis, aims to boost operational efficiency and consumer service.
