REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) handed over the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the Khavda V-A Power Transmission Project to PGCIL. This first High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) project awarded via Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding includes two 6,000 MW terminal stations, a 1,200 km HVDC Bipole line, and 6 transformers at Nagpur.
