Rajesh Power Services has secured a 65 MW/130 MW standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Virpore, Gujarat, from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). The system provides 65 MW power for two hours, delivering a total output of 130 MW. The project, aimed at enhancing grid stability and renewable integration, is to be executed within 18 months from signing the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) and obtaining regulatory approvals.
